ASSISTANT CHANNEL SALES MANAGER
The Assistant Channel Sales Manager is responsible over management and expansion of relationships and sales within our Dealer network. He/ She will be a key person in leading the Dealer Division which represents a select range of our company brands; will be providing support, advice and updates; bridging the communication within our network of Dealers.
The holder of this position is responsible for managing and growing dealer sales within Malaysia. Main responsibilities are product focused sales planning, marketing & forecasting, providing prompt feedback and service/ support to our Dealers, meeting Dealers and creating new business relationships, and growing the business in existing and new Dealers by promoting our Brands and products.
Product focused sales planning, marketing & forecasting
Develops and implements product focused marketing and sales plans that aim to promote and grow sales within our Dealer network.
Communicates updates and market changes from Dealers and from this, plan how we can improve our relationships and grow the Dealer network.
Ability to monitor, analyze and report back sales forecasts to management and communicate any significant changes or developments.
Provides feedback and implements systems to improve our Dealer network by working with our team of technical support, service and sales.
Providing prompt feedback, Service & Support to our Dealers
Responds effectively to Dealer requests, resolves critical issues and meets all commitments in a timely manner.
Be the go-to person for our dealer network, handles daily dealer product inquiry, issue quotations and provides technical product advice.
Meeting Dealers and creating new business relationships
To regularly meet with our Dealers to grow strong business relationships, promote key products and to communicate promotions & technical updates.
Acts as a technical product advisor to Dealers during joint visits with customers and end users; and provides product training through our Dealer network.
To work closely with our in-house sales and technical support team to ensure market updates are shared.
Minimum requirements/ qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Sciences (Biomed, Molecular Biology, Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology)
Minimum 2 years experience in the Scientific Sales field, preferably with channels and/ or distributors
Effective communicator (both written and spoken)
Ability to represent the company well to our Dealer network
Self-motivated individual with good organizational skills
High customer orientation
Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality
Manage complex internal relationships
Works with speed, passion, and a can-do attitude with strong team spirit
Listens actively, communicates openly
Product and technical training will be provided, we stress upon proper guidance and personal growth
