Full-Time Head of finance & admin

Job Description

Our client is a Manufacturing MNC, with an extensive presence globally and locally.

About the role

  • Overseeing / lead Finance, credit control, local purchasing, and Human Resource department
  • Supervise, lead, give direction and give guidance to staff
  • Resources planning, risk management and formulate /enforce continuous improvement on financial and operations internal controls, policies, and procedures
  • Review monthly reporting for the Finance and Human Resource department
  • Tax planning and company tax-related matter (direct & indirect taxes and duties)
  • A corporate-related matter, monitor and update business group insurance requirements
  • Daily cash flow management and banking related matter
  • Review monthly payroll, commission, bonus, and advance
  • Company secretary related matter
  • Attend to daily operation issue and provide a solution
  • In charge of Group Business Plan, Annual Budget, forecasting, cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, law, regulatory requirement and group policy
  • Coordinate Corporate Exercise and ad-hoc project from time to time
  • Oversee finance matters for overseas subsidiaries/operations
  • Establish and maintain a mutually beneficial relationship with investors, senior management, bankers, auditors, lawyers, and tax-related bodies
  • Undertake other special assignments, ad-hoc job/project as and when required by the management from time to time

Your profile

  • Minimum 15 years of working experience in Finance and Human Resources or relevant working experience at a similar capacity.
  • Working experience in big 4 audit firm and/or public listed company is highly preferable
  • At least 8 years of working experience in a senior managerial position
  • Possess sound and strong knowledge in handling Group Consolidation Accounts
  • Knowledge of applicable accounting standards and financial reporting requirements, tax requirements, and other related law/compliances
  • Competency across the full range of human resource functions, that is compensation and benefits, industrial relations, staff retention programs, training, manpower planning, and recruitment
  • Proven track record in addressing contemporary human resource management issues
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, ERP system, and financial modeling
  • Knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices
