Full-Time Retail Operation Manager

Job Description:

1.Policy & Procedures

-Ensure that all operational & employee policies and procedures are enforced, kept up to date & followed through.

-Develop strategy to measure and ensure that all employees (new hires & tenured employees) are trained in operations policies and procedures.

-Ensure that the assigned beauty haven is always ‘audit-ready’.

2.Store Facility/ Management / Interior & Exterior

-Liaise with maintenance personnel on all construction, minor works, and renovations and machine / apparatus’ maintenance.

-Coordinate with Building Management should there be any noise pollution / water leakage / building related problems.

-Ensure that the interior and exterior outlook of the premises are in good & presentable condition.

-Ensure that the assigned outlet is fully equipped and stocked (retail / salon products, sundry / groceries / miscellaneous items.

-Ensure that all equipment and parts are ordered on time from the relevant department, to support the business effectively.

3.Financial & Growth

-Identify & address problems and opportunities for The Company.

-Ensure that expenses / usage is controlled and ensure accurate records – examine financial related data & use them to improve profitability.

-Perform quality controls & monitor operations related KPIs.

4.Inventory

-Support the Accounts Personnel & product person in charge to manage/ ensure accuracy / movable of retail stock and sundry / miscellaneous items.

5.Human Resources

-Provide inspired leadership.

-Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance & high morale.

-Support team members’ communication along with The Management Team.

-Assist in hiring new team members and to manage healthy staff turnover rate.

-Support the Sales team & Human Resources department on performance management of Operations staff, making recommendations when necessary and supporting Management with performance management when needed.

-Prepare performance review for team members.

-Work to develop clear succession plan for operations function.

6.Retail Performance

-Be ready to mentor team members & find ways to increase quality of customer service and implement best practices across all levels.

-Assist respective outlet to achieve sales / club targets.

-Evaluate & audit operations team performance from time to time.

7.Information Systems

-Ensure privacy of data is well kept & clients’ data are up to date.

-Liaise with The Company’s CRM department on any issues related to CRM software.

Job Qualification:

  • Proven work experience as operations manager or similar role within the retail service industry.
  • Strong knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good leadership & people management skills.
  • Admirable work ethics & execution.
  • Dependable and has consistency in following through.
  • A positive attitude, self-motivated, independent and able to work effectively with little supervision.
  • Communicates effectively in English, Chinese & Malay.
  • Preferably females as we are in the ladies beauty industry.
